The Frontline Portrait Project.

During the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, most of us sheltered at home wondering what this virus was, how we could avoid it, and what it’s impact would be. Our ability to stay home acted as a security blanket, protecting us from the unknown. In communities across America and the world, essential employees and first responders didn’t have the luxury of avoiding contact.
Born from both a sensation of helplessness and desire to pay tribute to these selfless members of our community, I set out to photograph local front line medical personnel at home, but in the uniforms of their daily work.

A selection of these images were published in the May 2022 issue of Delaware Beach Life Magazine. Visit www.DelawareBeachLife.com for back issues.
