Neil D. Parry

I was born in Southport UK, and relocated to the United States in 1991. I’ve lived on both the West and East coasts and now live in Lewes, DE. It was on my first coast to coast crossing of America back in 2006 that fell in love with making pictures, using a point and shoot camera to photograph the landscapes and towns across the southern states.

While making my living in photography for the past 8 years, I’ve continued to pursue personal and documentary projects - such as a current focus on the volunteers and visitors at a local non-profit for the poor and homeless, photographing small beach towns after dark in winter, and making portraits of 40 front line medical personnel during the early days of the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. I love the cooperation required in making portraits and the solitude of photographing landscapes and street life. I’m drawn to recording moments that can never be recreated, and documenting the subtle details of life that go overlooked or unseen.

My work has been published in Delaware Today Magazine, Delaware Beach Life Magazine, The Cape Gazette, Delaware Seaside Bride, Baltimore Magazine and more.

Thanks for visiting.
